Soul Knight Prequel: Riftvoker Class Build Guide
The Riftvoker Class is the newest addition to the Soul Knight Prequel, combining the unique abilities of the Voidfarer and Lightbringer classes. This guide will help you understand how to build this new gambling class to maximize its potential.
Stat Allocation
As with all Mage classes, you will want to allocate your stats fully into intelligence (INT). This is because Intelligence directly influences your damage output, making your attacks and skills much more powerful. By focusing on INT, you ensure that you deal maximum damage to your enemies.
Fate Bounds
Fate bounds are special bonuses that enhance your character’s abilities. For the Riftvoker, certain fate bounds are essential:
1. Three-piece Echo-casting: This fate bound is crucial because it causes your skills to be recast automatically. This means that every time you use a skill, there is a chance it will be used again without any extra effort from you. This effectively doubles your chances of getting a six on your dice rolls, which is important for maximizing damage.
2. Three-piece Intelligence Boost: This significantly increases your intelligence stat. The higher your intelligence, the more damage you deal. This fate bound is key for boosting your overall damage output.
3. Three-piece Twin Novae: This fate bound is particularly important because it makes your dice explosions trigger twice. This means each time you get an explosion, it will happen two times instead of one, dealing more damage to your enemies. Be sure to get the Helxar variation of this fate bound for even better effects.
4. Two-piece Epicenter (or Helxar variation): This fate bound decreases your area of effect (AOE) damage but doubles your single-target damage. To counter the reduced AOE, you can use:
- Two-piece Blowout (or Helxar variation): This fate bound cancels the negative effect of Epicenter, ensuring you still have strong AOE damage.
5. Helxar variation: This increases your damage and speed after you use a dash skill. Since the Riftvoker frequently uses dash skills, this fate bound is very useful.
6. Two-piece Concentration (or Helxar variation): This fate bound decreases the cooldown of your skills, allowing you to use them more often. However, for my build, I replaced this with the Precipitator Ring. You can farm this ring at Zulan the Colossal, and it may drop with the Twin Novae fate bound, which can be converted to the Helxar variation.
Gear
To maximize your build, you will need specific gear:
Arch Wizard’s Helmet, Armor, and Boots: This gear set gives you the three-piece Echo-casting fate bound, which is essential for your build.
Insane Dice: This weapon increases your chance to roll a six and comes with Twin Novae as its main fate bound. If you prefer not to farm for this weapon, the Arch Wizard Staff is a good alternative.
Chips and Skills
To complete your build, here are some additional tips:
Use the Best Chips: Equip the best available chips that complement your build. These chips will provide additional bonuses to your stats and abilities.
Select the Right Skills: Equip skills that maximize your damage and utility based on the fate bounds and gear set you have. Focus on skills that enhance your intelligence and recast abilities.
